    At first I was bummed to find that Mezzanie was closed on a Monday, but it was all meant to be because it led me here. I noticed this place earlier in the day due to it's all day happy hour menu and took a mental note of it. I'm so glad we went and checked it out. It was a great cap to our PR trip. Eduardo and Desiree are fantastic hosts and owners. The drinks may be $5 but the quality is of a higher price. Initially the empanadas didn't look like much because they were in the glass case, but Desiree was putting fresh ones in the oven, so we knew that they were always on rotation. All flavors tasted great and the homemade hot sauces were delicious as well! In the hour and some that we were there we were instantly treated like locals and wanted to be regulars.

    One of the best places in SJ hands down. The owners are fantastic. The environment is fun and relaxed. Empanadas are TOP! Chicken and mushroom are my favorites. Gotta stop in if you're traveling the streets at night!

    Great little bar in old San Juan. The two bartenders were great & friendly. The empanadas were outstanding and freshly baked. You may have to wait a little bit since each baked batch time out pretty fast before the next batch finishes. It's a small space so you feel like you know everyone. Drinks were solid too!

    Our go to spot for empanadas in San Juan. Hands down the best! Made fresh while you wait. Great cocktails. Great service always with a smile.

    If anyone puts less than 5 stars, they shouldn’t be allowed to put a review. Empanadas are absolutely amazing!!! With a great variety. Happy hour all day, good strong drinks. The hot sauces are stupid delicious! Eating here multiple times while in Puerto Rico! Amazing service as well!!
